Saniderm:
- Saniderm is a medical-grade, flexible, breathable, and waterproof bandage.
- It protects your tattoo from bacteria, germs, fluids, and other contaminants.
- It locks in the body’s natural healing fluids (plasma) to keep the tattoo hydrated and promote faster healing
- Saniderm is permeable to oxygen, which helps the skin breathe
- It reduces the chances of scabbing which can be harmful to your tattoo
- It helps to reduce pain while also keeping the ink more vibrantfor longer.
Care:
- After the bandage has been put on the clean area, leave it on for 3-5 days.
- If it fills with an excessive amount of liquid, take it off after the first 24hrs. Replace with a new piece if you have one.
- When removing bandage, it is recommended to do it while in the shower under warm water
- Once the bandage is off, use a fragrance free, antibacterial soap to clean it and keep it moisturized using a fragrance free moisturizer such as Lubriderm or Aveeno.
- Some people might have a reaction to the adhesive. If this happens you will see red under the bandage or around the edges. Remove the bandage immediately if this occurs.
