Stand Out Tattoos is officially the first tattoo studio allowed to open in the City of Winter Park. The city has an ordinance not allowing tattoo studios within the city limits. After two months of working with city officials, owner Topher Stralkus, finally got the green light to open the first tattoo  studio in the city. After working at traditional street shops and then opening a private studio for three years, Topher wanted to open a studio that had the feeling of both. Part tattoo studio and part salon suites. Salon suites are great, however, they limit your exposure. Most of the time the only people who will know you are there, besides your clients, are other people in the salon suite’s clients (hairstylists, barbers, etc.). Also, from working in the salon suites, Topher found out that a lot of clients did not like to feeling of getting tattooed in front of other people in a big open room. This is why at Stand Out Tattoos, every artist has their own private room. Your comfort, safety, and privacy are the main concerns while getting a piece of art that you will love for the rest of your life. Another thing he always heard from clients was that walking into a tattoo studio can be very intimidating, especially if its your first time. Topher wanted a more warm and inviting look to this studio. It almost has a look of “being at home” if you will.
